NiTi Perio Saw® for human dentistry
A micro-serrated nickel-titanium ligament saw for atraumatic tooth extraction. It cuts the periodontal ligament around the root so the tooth loosens with minimal force, preserving the alveolar bone.
In human dentistry, the NiTi Perio Saw® is a medical device. Whether and how it may be supplied depends on the medical-device approvals and rules of each country. In the Republic of Korea it is a notified Class 1 medical device used in dental extraction (MFDS notification no. 21-813). For other countries, please ask us first.

Because the NiTi Perio Saw® is a medical device in human dentistry, its sale is subject to the regulatory approvals of each country. It therefore cannot be purchased through this online shop, which sells only the veterinary edition to veterinarians.

Why a saw, not a plain blade
A conventional ligament-cutting instrument has a plain blade. The NiTi Perio Saw® has a micro-serrated one.
Micro serration tip
A micro saw on the blade edge cuts the periodontal ligament clearly instead of tearing it.
Super-elastic NiTi
The tip bends up to 180° and springs back straight, following the curvature of the root deep along the socket.
Save the surrounding bone
No levering against the alveolar wall: less bone loss, and a better site if an implant is planned.
Controlled entry
The serration prevents slipping and gives precise directional entry into the ligament space. Hand instrument, no motor.

Tip width 2 mm. Supplied individually or as a set of four.
